KWZ two-axis module
The KWZ contains two independent KW inverters in one frame. This represents a
low-cost solution for servo drives.
The KWZ module facilitates the servo control of motors with position encoders as
well as the control of synchronous and asynchronous motors without encoders.
All the device functions are available for each axis separately.
Features:
- 2 axis in one device in a power range up to 2 x 5 kVA
- Very compact dimensions
- Cooling with coldplate technology
- Precise and highly dynamic control of all three-phase motors (synchronous/
asynchronous motor, torque/spindle motor, linear or rotary action)
- Safe locking against impermissible motor start
(category 4 in acc. with EN 954-1) via output stage enable (OSE)
- CAN interface for parameterising and giving instructions via ACC bus
- Optional EtherCAT interface
- Analogue setpoint selection +/- 10 V
The encoder systems below can run on the KWZ:
- Resolver
- EnDat 2.1 digital (without analogue signals)
- Sine-wave/Hall-effect encoder without zero pulse
