Products that punch above their weight

For many years, AMK has been synonymous with the most compact products on the market in the medium power range from 10 to 100 kW. It is not unusual to see a customer double the power of a machine or reduce control cabinet dimensions by more than half - without increasing frame size.

· AMKASYN KE/KW servo inverters are some of the most compact devices available on the market. They offer a whole new dimension in terms of power density.

· DYNASYN DT high-torque motors, which boast an extremely wide range of power ratings from 280 W to 60 KW, are 50 per cent smaller than asynchronous motors. Featuring liquid cooling, they offer up to a fourfold improvement in power density. Their low weight also helps ensure much more efficient use of space and easier handling.

· AMKASMART IDT4 servo motors with integrated inverter are compact mechatronic functional units, which manage to combine a high-torque motor, servo controller, and phase-angle sensor into a single unit that is ready for immediate connection. This reduces the control cabinet size considerably.

· SPINDASYN hollow-shaft motors are extremely compact units that pack a real punch. The integrated bearing has an axial capacity of up to 300 kN. Integrating the mechanical bearing into the motor makes it possible to reduce the installation space inside the machine.
