Cam Disc Function

Synchronized motions in demanding machines frequently require complex
cam disc functions. The cam disc technology function indicates the dependency of the servo axis on the master axis. The following functions are programmed:

- Engaging and disengaging
- Online change of cam disc tables
- Table interpolator with equidistant or freely definable axis resolution
- Synchronous or non-synchronous table change

The cam disc editor integrated in CoDeSys is the ideal tool for the
display of the cam disc function. In the cam disc editor, you can enter
the dependencies between the master axis and the slave axis. In the process,
the curve is generated graphically in the PC or via tables.

On the monitor, you can monitor not only the curve shape, but also explicitly the speed and acceleration. The transfer of the data in the technology module occurs automatically.
