The AMK Group

The AMK Group consists of four business areas:

Drive and Control Technology
The electrical drive and control technology is the original core business of AMK. AMK has been moving mechanical engineering ever since its founding in 1963, and it has established a leading position in the industry with numerous technological world novelties.

Handling and Automation
Born of the obvious affinity between drive and control technology and the handling and automation application field, AMK has continually expanded its activity to this area since the beginning of the 80s.

Geared Motors
Since the middle of the 90s, the AMK product spectrum has been expanded to include geared motors. With the acquisition of Tornado Antriebstechnik, a company steeped in tradition in Berlin, AMK creates a consistent addition to its own delivery spectrum.

Automotive
AMK has been conquering the automotive industry since 1998 with the development of its tire inflation compressor. This new technology replaces the spare wheel in the vehicle, and today it is used by all noted automobile manufacturers. Additional innovations followed and allowed AMK to create another pillar by establishing the automotive area.
